Glav Corp is a Canberran real estate, property, and investment agency, who've been active in their industry for over 40 years. Despite their long term success in business, they came to Mude with not much else to their brand but a name and an outdated logo. However, they clearly understood how a unique brand identity and digital presence would heighten their authority to customers and competitors alike. Mude's design and development teams were handed a blank slate, ready to stamp with Glav Corp's revised identity. <br />
We quickly noticed the disconnection between GlavCorp’s original branding and its mission statement. Whilst the logo was was streamlined, it was far from bold. Whilst the style was modern, its limited white colour palette restricted its ability to be used across a range of formats. This resulted in an inaccurate representation of the brand and its primary goal - to create an innovative impact.
The client was clear on their inspiration for the website style. They had taken notes from the modern templates utilised by other creativity-driven competitors. However, we needed to adapt the styles they admired into a layout that undeniably represented Glav Corp. We were also mindful of the need to clearly lead each user through to the next stage of the client's sales funnel.
We were tasked with recreating Glav Corp’s brand from the ground up. We started with the mission statement, to inform each step of the branding process. After close consultation with the client’s team, we came to the following - “To create an innovative and adaptive company with a strong reputation for delivering quality projects that are great working and living environments.”, with core values of reliability, trust, quality, and creativity.
We discovered through our research and discovery phase that when launched, Glav Corp would be entering a local market with brands ranging from charismatic & creative, to staple and conservative. After some chats over coffee and careful consideration, we decided to align GlavCorp's positioning with the contemporary branding styles, to directly battle the market leaders in Canberra.
After gathering information on the approaches of competitor websites, we began drafting wireframes and website mockups for feedback and approval from the Glav Corp team. Following the development process, we had designed a website with a clear information architecture, and a simply understood layout that conveys reliability and inspires trust. However, we knew the importance of the website standing out in the crowded Canberra real estate industry. That’s why we injected touches of creativity through bold typography, a playful colour palette, and in-built transition animations – all pulled from the newly rejuvenated brand.
