Sydney-based, Gold Coast-raised pop siren performs Paramore’s “Still Into You” For Amazon Music. Redefining a pop cover through atmosphere and movement.
In collaboration with Amazon Music and EMI Music, Mude orchestrated a moody live performance music video, setting the stage for Charley to perform her dramatic pop ballad rendition of Paramore’s timeless hit, “Still Into You,” exclusively for Amazon Music. In a location like no other, we shot the video in the unusual basalt columns on New South Wales Illawarra coast, a location that feels as though you’re walking on the moon. The direction was to have Charley’s band placed amongst the rock pools and atop the rocky columns, creating a visually stunning backdrop for a moody Amazon Music Original.

The artist
Charley is a Sydney-based, Gold Coast-raised pop artist signed to EMI Music Australia. Her own music is glossy, high-energy pop, so this cover was a different kind of song for her: quieter and moodier than what she usually makes. She is a strong live singer, and the film relies on her live vocal.
The concept
The location
Bombo Headland is a former quarry on the Illawarra coast, a couple of hours south of Sydney, where quarrying has cut the rock back into tall, dark basalt columns. The surface is angular and almost black, and the place looks more lunar than coastal, which is where the “walking on the moon” shorthand came from on the shoot. We placed Charley and her band across the site, in the rock pools and on top of the columns, and shot into the late-afternoon sun and the blue hour after it.
The performance was filmed live. Charley sang on the day, and her band played live among the rocks. The grade is dark, and the audio was mixed afterwards by Robby De Sá, who placed Charley’s live vocal into the final track. Alongside the film, we delivered a set of stills shot by Billy Zammit, used across the release and its launch around Valentine’s Day.
This was Mude’s second Amazon Music Original, after Gretta Ray’s “One Day Like This.” We used the same approach and worked with the same contact at Amazon Music, and the relationship carried on into the Country Heat campaign in 2025.
